Ashoka Buildcon’s VIVA Highways who is having this BOT, is unable to maintain this road properly according to standard of Indian Road Congress, that dirty corrupt is collecting increasing toll since 2004, but unable to construct barricades on km 32/6 & 32/8, while there is 2small culverts having no barricades, at this mountain area, there is 300’to400’ deep. From 28km to 36km there is slope of mountain area, but most of places there is no barricades, 2nd coincide both side of 27’ wide road, no 5’patties filled after Simrol to Badwah, after Sanawad toll after one km to Khandwa, that firm is not looking after patch work, both sides patti fillings its most of area from Khandwa to Burhanpur, they could not filled patties since 2004. On this road traffic turned 8to 10 times high, requires four lane, but due to BOT contract, MP RDC is unable to do anything or cannot ask for the same. While there is clear arrangement, if Govt. requires for safety, security can terminate this contract. In this contract, Govt. also given subsidy of Rs.50cr. with motorable roads, after getting this road, he just spend only Rs.45 to 50 cr. of govt., VIVA saved his total money. After getting this BOT contract traffic turned 4times high, due to all other roads were in highly damaged conditions, such as NH3Indore Sendhawa Bhusawal, Indore Betul Nagpur for entering from Maharashtra.
