On 29.11.12 MP CM SRS Chouhan & LK Aadwani inaugurated Narmada Shipra Link Project of Rs,432cr. in this project, NVDA dn.32 Badwah will lift water from 120msl river water by electric and bring it 50km away at Ujjaini Village, from there that water will flow in Shipra river, for 2016 Sihnastha fair. While it will require 2lakh unit electric pd, it will cost at least Rs.8lakh per day, i.e., Rs.8lakh pm.
The past history of Dn.32 Narmada Valley Development Authority Badwah, most of its work of Onkareshwar left & right bank canal are still pending of Rs.212cr. after 4years. 2nd coincide most of lift irrigation projects on Narmada River, such as Kathora Lift Irrigation at Khargone, of Rs.150cr. Narmada Nagar Lift Irrigation Project of Rs.560cr. all are failed due to lack of electric.
