He spent money of Rs.5crore in 1972 to late PM Indira Gandhi for framing law of Iodine Salt for making it compulsory in India, while in India it was required only for 0.1% population of Himalayan, CG, Jharkhand area, still today it is required only for 5million population of same area, but compulsory for 1250million population of total India, on that time that was casting Rs.0.01/- per kg, after enacting of this law, that was just jumped up to Rs.1toRs.2/-pkg, this trick reborn Tata Chemicals Ltd., which was running in loss and standing on sinking stage.
