In Narmada Valley Development Authority, many members engineering, CE, SEs are working on contract basis after retirement, most of these officers\ engineers were highly corrupt in their regular services, on getting services on contract base these chief & supdt. engineers are not having their any liability in case of corruption, delay in work, non-standardized or bad quality work. While such types of all engineers are not only physically unfit, but also mentally-ill, they are having their mentality to pass time, earn money by salary and as well as from contractors for providing chances for direct or indirect benefits. It is happening since 2000. in this NVDA, there are many senior officers who are also eligible for promotions of SE, CE & for members of engineering, but after passing more than 10 to30 years of their services on the same or one post, most of SDOs, EEs & SE in their parent department of Water Resources Department, these dirty vulture IAS officers whom are sitting as Principal secretary, secretary, ministers, chief ministers are not giving them promotions only for their earning since last 10year. It is also true, they are reappointing on contract basis, retd. engineers after getting big commission\ bribes, and giving them chances for corruption earning with setting with contractors and providing them undue benefits of escalation, time extension, waving of penalty etc., CE of NVDA, LNZ Indore, many SE are sitting on contract basis. SE Sharma who finished his contract on 31.01.12, but again giving further extension of 6month etc.,
