Only indore is giving 57% revenue from commercial\sale tax, it is more than Rs.6500cr. out of Rs.12000cr. of total state highest revenue from land sale & purchase, so it is natural, cost of land is also highest in MP state. Due to higher land cost, PS, MPWRD RS Julania is not agreed with & ignoring these facts, he decided to close WRD Indore Dn. only because of high cost of land in construction of new water bodies for irrigating agriculture of Indore Dist. So there is no work of construction of ponds, canals, dams, while in this dn. there is so many proposals are pending with HO WRD Bhopal. Of course, it is a game of dualism of state Govt. one side Govt. is collecting highest revenue but unable to spend only @1% i.e., Rs.65cr. for irrigation of agriculture, water for industrial & public use, i.e., for storage of rain water in ponds, dams etc., over all Indian abusing service officers are unable to consider other true facts. Yet not any order issued by the Govt. for closure of this dn. but it is also true, a sub dn. of Mhow closed & transfer to Ujjain Dn. last year. According to sources, it was prime trial for closing of Indore Dn.
