Crack commissioner S Singh, at one side asking to all commercial tax officers & employees to do 99% self assessment of all types of traders, merchants, businessmen, industrialists etc., and making cheaters, fraudulent to merchants, while traders, merchants, businessmen, industrialists etc., are openly charging all types of taxes including VAT, but not paying to commercial tax department so department is losing at least 70% revenue of other than corporate. 2nd coincide for removing these charges from his head, he is showing his crack tendency & issued order to charge 12% VAT against cell phone recharge vouchers, while Supreme Court already given clear version, recharge voucher is services, and Central Govt. charging service tax by Central Custom & Excise, so no taxation such as VAT can not be charged, but after knowingly this version, he charged VAT on recharge vouchers & on coconut while it is material for worship. At last CM of MP SRS Chouhan declared no tax on recharge voucher & coconut. Now again he ordered on 20August11 to charge 5% VAT on sugar & cloth since 1st April 2011. that is creating big trouble to sugar & cloth merchants, and businessmen of sugar & cloth met with CM & Fin. Min. Raghav g, again they promised to businessmen not charge any VAT on sugar & cloth.
