In MP state there is 5000 km roads are under national category. Govt. of India min. of surface transportation taken all these roads from MP state Govt. PWD, and given to National Highways Authority of India for development, while most of staff is totally experienced less, newly recruited, having no working knowledge, unable to maintain roads, bridges, culverts, no drainage system both sides of roads, no 5’patties of both side of roads it is creating enough trouble to roads users, vehicle owners, but these dirty bustards of ministry, seniors are unable to take any actions. 2nd coincide most of BOT roads contractors are collecting toll with vehicle owners, but unable to maintain quality of roads. Of course, toll collection is the biggest fraud with public of nation, while both states & central govt. charging 2% roads cess on sales of petroleum products such as diesel, petrol, CNG, LPG etc., on all services, such as phone bills etc., but again on roads. While there is no free alternative govt. roads, the concept of BOT Govt. borrowed, from foreign countries, while there is 3types of roads, one is free road, 2nd is toll high speed road, 3rd is luxurious super highways, but in India there is no so such types of arrangement. Here is no option, only to pay if you want to reach on your destination on these BOT roads. In all these BOT contractors are big businessmen, parliamentarians, leaders of political parties, big bureaucrats, capitalists etc., who are having relations with MP, officers of NHAI, min. of roads transportation of Govt. of India. Even in Dewas Rau BOT contract, contractor got 42km 4lane road half is cement concrete & WBM, without spending a single paise, contract will collect toll, 2nd coincide this contract estimated cost sanctioned Rs476crore only for 2lane, i.e., @Rs.11.50crore per km, while actual cost was is not more than Rs2crore per km as per SOR of CPWD & MPPWD.
